The Centre is not a law firm, does not carry on a solicitors', advocates' or attorneys' practice, and does not provide legal services or hold client money. The Director and Fellows are instructed directly, contract in their own names and on their own terms, and remain subject to the rules of any professional bodies and institutions of which they are members. The Centre, its Director and its Fellows, in that capacity, do not conduct litigation, appear in court, prepare court documents for a fee, or undertake conveyancing or executry work.
